Galaxy S20 And Galaxy S20+ Plus: How To Use Split Screen View And Multi-Window

Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S+ Plus offers a fantastic feature that allows you run multiple apps and multitask simultaneously with the Multi Window Mode or Split Screen View. This feature must be enabled before you can use splitscreen on the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus.

If you don’t know how to do that, the following will explain how to enable Multi Window or Split Screen View on Samsung Galaxy S20+ Plus.

Enable multi window mode on Galaxy S20

These steps will enable Multi Window functionality on your smartphone. You can find it in the Settings menu.

  • Turn on your phone
  • Open the Settings menu
  • Tap on Multi window under App
  • Switch from Multi-window toggle, to
  • Multi Window mode can also be set as default by checking the box next Open in multi-window view.

You’ll notice a grey semi circle or half circle on your phone once you’ve enabled Split Screen View and Multiple Window Mode on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus. The semi circle indicates that your smartphone has enabled this setting. You can then use Split Screen Mode.

Split Screen Mode is possible by simply tapping on the half-circle. Move the icon from the menu into the window. You can also resize the window using the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus. You can simply press and hold on the circle at the top of the screen, and drag it to the place you wish to see it.
