Google Maps is a very popular way to locate directions before you go. This can sometimes be a problem for people with limited data plans or limited mobile phone service to your area. Save Google Map Offline on Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+
There are two ways to save Google Maps offline. Both require that you turn on your Samsung Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus, and then go to Google Maps. There are two ways to save Google Maps from your Samsung Galaxy.
Type in the Search of Google Maps
After opening Google Maps, click on the search bar and type “OK Maps” in the search box. Then, you can save the Google Map you searched for.
Save Google Maps using the Info Bar
Open the app, search for the location that you wish to save on your Samsung Galaxy S20/S20+ Plus. Next, press and hold the screen until you see the checkmark.
You can then view saved Google Map locations by clicking on the info bar at bottom of screen. You can view all data displayed on the screen by moving the info bar up.
You can then view all saved information by clicking on the three-point icon. You can then view your saved Google Maps even if you are not connected to the Internet.
Important to know that Google Maps saved on the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus only last 30 days before being automatically deleted.
