You may be curious about how to close or switch apps on your Samsung Galaxy S20. Samsung has simplified the process of closing and changing apps, making it even easier to move between different apps on Galaxy S20 or S20+ Plus.

The new soft key for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus will allow you to switch between Twitter or Facebook. You can also view all open apps. Below is a guide to closing and switching apps on the Galaxy S20.

How to Change and Close Apps:

  • Turn on the Galaxy S20, or Galaxy S20+.
  • Tap the soft button below the screen to the left side of the home screen
  • From the selection of open apps, select the app you wish to use.
  • To close an application you don’t wish to use anymore, you can drag the thumbnail left or right.

The Galaxy S20+ Plus screen will show you the memory usage of all open apps. This screen allows you to see which apps use a lot of memory. To close running apps, tap the buttons to the right and left.
