Galaxy S20 And Galaxy S20+ Plus: How To Use Google Private Mode

You can use Private Mode to browse the Internet if you don’t want Google saving all your search queries. Private Mode is a setting on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus that will erase any search queries or view history. It won’t remember logins, passwords or other information.

Private Mode on Galaxy S20 is best described as a killswitch. This means that it will never save any information you have viewed or clicked during your session. Private Mode doesn’t delete cookies. These cookies are saved on your device regardless what Incognito Tab you have enabled.

Turn ON Private Mode:

  • Turn on your smartphone.
  • Go to Google Chrome.
  • Click the 3 dots icon in the upper left hand corner.
  • Select “New incognito tab”, and you will see a pop-up with a black screen.

Google Play Store allows you to use other browsers. These browsers will remember no data about your browsing habits and can be used by multiple types. Dolphin provides a great alternative to Chrome odor for the Galaxy S20. Opera Browser, which is a popular Internet browser for Galaxy S20+ Plus, has a browser-wide privacy setting that you can enable.
