Block.One has a class action lawsuit that it will need to deal with in regards to EOS. The Lawsuits against EOS for the ICO has Block.one needing to handle a new issue after dealing with the $24 million penalty that paid the SEC. This new lawsuit is going to be dealt with in the Southern District of New York and has been brought on by Crypto Assets Opportunity Fund LLC.
The plaintiffs say that Block.one gave false information in regards to EOS for the ICO as the sale of unregistered securities. The plaintiffs says that they had purchased
Crypto Assets Opportunity Fund LLC claims that Block.One made the price of EOS go up based on the marketing of EOS that it will outperform other current blockchains. In the claim from the plaintiffs it is stated that Block.one had told that EOS stood for “Ethereum on steroids.”
