There are two options for creating folders on your smartphone: one in a single folder, or one within a larger folder. Below are instructions for how to create folders and widgets on Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus.

Moving the apps that you need in one folder is the best way to create a new folder on Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus. After creating the first folder, you can drag and drop other apps over it to add them to the group. 

The name of the folder can be edited by pressing on it and making edits. We will show you how to create multiple folders using Galaxy S20+ Plus.

How do I create a folder? (Method 2)

  • Turn on the smartphone.
  • Next, go to the home screen. Press and hold an app.
  • Move the selected app to the top of the other apps in the same folder.
  • Modify the name of your New Folder.
  • Tap on Done.
  • Now, you can move any other apps and add them to the new directory.
