How To Add Roadrunner Webmail To Outloo

To add Roadrunner webmail to Outlook, follow these steps:

1. Open Outlook on your computer.

2. Go to the “File” tab at the top left corner of the Outlook window.

3. In the File menu, click on “Add Account.”

4. In the Add Account window, select “Manual setup or additional server types” and click “Next.”

5. Choose “POP or IMAP” and click “Next.”

6. In the POP and IMAP Account Settings window, enter the following information:

– Your Name: Your preferred display name
– Email Address: Your full Roadrunner email address
– Account Type: Select either POP3 or IMAP, depending on your preference (IMAP is recommended for syncing emails across multiple devices)
– Incoming Mail Server: Enter “pop-server.ec.rr.com” for POP3 or “imap-server.ec.rr.com” for IMAP
– Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Enter “smtp-server.ec.rr.com”

7. Below the Server Information section, enter your Roadrunner email address as the “User Name,” and then enter your Roadrunner email password.

8. Click on the “More Settings” button.

9. In the Internet Email Settings window, go to the “Outgoing Server” tab.

10. Check the box that says “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.”

11. Select the option “Use same settings as my incoming mail server.”

12. Go to the “Advanced” tab.

13. In the Advanced settings, enter the following information:

– Incoming server (POP3): 110 for POP3 or 143 for IMAP
– Outgoing server (SMTP): 587

14. Choose the encryption type for both incoming and outgoing servers. Select either SSL or TLS, depending on your preference. (SSL is recommended for better security.)

15. Click “OK” to save the settings.

16. Back in the Add Account window, click on the “Test Account Settings” button to verify the configuration. Outlook will test the connection to the Roadrunner servers and confirm if the settings are correct.

17. If the test is successful, click “Next” and then “Finish” to complete the setup.

Your Roadrunner webmail account should now be added to Outlook, and you can start sending and receiving emails using Outlook.
