After several hours of continuous use, the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus overheats. When the Galaxy S20 is exposed to high temperatures for long periods of time, it can cause the phone to overheat. This guide is for those who have problems hearing with the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus.

How to fix Galaxy S20’s overheating issue

A third-party application could be the culprit for the Galaxy S20+ Plus’s overheating. To check the issue, hold down the Power button. Next, tap Power off and hold it until you see Reboot in Safe Mode. Finally, tap Restart. The lower left corner should show Safe Mode. If the problem does not persist, it may be caused by an app from a third party. You can uninstall the app one at a time to find out what caused it or you can go for a factory reset.

Before factory-resetting the Galaxy S20 it is recommended to delete the cache partition. Turn off the Galaxy S20 and then hold the PowerVolume up and Homebuttons. Once the Samsung logo appears, with a blue recovery text at its top, release the buttons. You can scroll down to highlight Wipe cache partition, then click Power. After it’s finished, you can use the Volume buttons for reboot system and power to choose it.
