The Samsung Galaxy S20/Galaxy S20+ Plus has a cool feature that allows you to quickly find information about contacts that you frequently communicate with. Instead of having to scroll through hundreds of contacts in order to find people you keep in touch with, you can choose to favorite the person on your Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus. Favorites make things even simpler.

If you have an Android phone, chances are you’ve already starred some contacts. We’ll show you how to add and remove favorite contacts. Here are the instructions for how to set favorites contacts on your Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus.
How to Star Favorite Contacts on Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus
- Turn on the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+.
- Go to the “Phone” app.
- You can find contact information in the “Contacts” section.
- Choose the contact you wish to star or favorite.
- Tap the “star”, located in the red circle.
You can also set favorite on the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus by selecting the name from the contacts list. After you have all of the information about the person, click on the star at the top of your screen. Once you have selected the star, this person will be added as a favorite.
The default Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus will not allow you to manually sort your favorite contacts in order for you to place the most important ones at the top. Instead, all contacts are listed alphabetically.
You can remove a person from your favorites list by going to their contact page and unchecking their star. To remove a contact from your favorites list, you can also delete them.
